The singers and songs of Amadeus' "Music party"

Suzuki Music Party, the new program by Amadeus, debuts tonight, September 22: it can be seen on 9/Discovery and is the first appearance by the former director of Sanremo for the Warner Bros. group’s television channel, after the end of his relationship with RAI.

The program was recorded on Tuesday 17th at the Allianz Cloud Arena in Milan – where the X Factor auditions were also recorded – and includes 21 artists, for 15 unreleased songs, or almost. Because several of these songs were actually published in recent days, after the recording. The most correct definition is “new songs”: the singers will enter on the notes of one of their successes, will be interviewed by Amadeus, supported by Ilenia Pastorelli, and will present their new single.

“I thought of making a very difficult evening on television: except for the Sanremo Festival, no other program allows singers to present only unreleased songs,” Amadeus said in recent days. “Generally on television when a singer wants to propose a new song, they try to make him change his mind. I even ask him.”

Amadeus then specified that his Music Party is not “a small Sanremo”: “It’s a unique evening: if it were a small Sanremo I would have done a small competition, a small ranking, a small vote and instead it’s just a great music show”. With Amadeus, two traveling companions are back: Suzuki, already main sponsor of event-programs on RAI, and Luca Alberti – DJ who accompanied him on other programs, and was at his side at the press listening of the Sanremo songs – and in fact Amadeus reels off the order of the songs as he did at the Festival.
