The Mission recover their essence in “Kindness is a Weapon”

The Mission will release their new album in April, “Songs For Kith And Kin”the first study in more than ten years. The album was scheduled for 2025, but was delayed because the singer, Wayne Husseyhad to undergo open heart surgery. Hussey explains that this experience and recovery have influenced his lyrics, to the point that almost every song mentions the word “heart,” and that the surgery has made him worry even less about what other people think.

The first preview is “Kindness Is A Weapon.” As can be seen from the presentation of the album, the album recovers the sound of his first works, such as “Children” (88) and “Carved In Sand” (90), the albums that gave them international fame, approaching that sound with all the experience they have accumulated over the years.

Three years after their last visit, the band has announced three concerts in Spain:
