Savatage, two concerts in Italy next July
After the sold out concert at Alcatraz in Milan (in the photo), Savatage today announce the Prelude To Madness Tour, which will see them return to Europe in 2026.
The band will also be in Italy for two concerts.
On July 27th Savatage will perform in the legendary Amphitheater of the Ruins of Pompeii (NA), for what already promises to be a night to remember: the group will in fact be accompanied live by a 27-piece orchestra.
On July 28th Savatage will be on stage in the splendid setting of the Carrarese Castle in Este (PD), with the Italians Vision Divine taking the stage at the opening, having recently reunited with singer Michele Luppi and keyboardist Oleg Smirnoff.
The 2026 tour promises a setlist that will span the band’s classic repertoire through to their signature songs, reinforcing Savatage’s dedication to their legendary fanbase known as “The Legion.”
Singer Zak Stevens states:
“After last year’s amazing tours in South America and Europe, I am very excited for Savatage’s 2026 concerts in Europe. It will be an amazing tour. It will be the first time that Savatage will play in Istanbul, Bucharest, Este, Warsaw and Leipzig. We can’t wait to play in an iconic location like the Pompeii Amphitheatre. It will be the only show of the tour with a 27-piece orchestra. Crazy! We have nine headline shows lined up so far, as well as several festivals. I can’t wait to meet you all and let you rock out with us“.
Tickets will be on sale as follows:

– via Metalitalia.com from 11:00 on November 5th, registration on the site will not be necessary;
