I Cani, the tour has started: setlist and video

The tour marking the live return of Niccolò Contessa’s Cani has officially started after the publication of the album “Post Mortem” (here is our review), released last April 10th. Returning to the stages by surprise last June for the first performance after nine years on the occasion of Baustelle’s “Galactico Festival” in Florence, and after appearances between September and October, Contessa kicked off the tour of her project last November 1st with the premiere of five dates at the Estragon in Bologna.

For almost two hours of concert, the ladder features 24 songs that look back the various stages of the Dogsstarting from the most recent “Post Mortem” with “Io”, “Black Hole” and “Colpo di Cough”, before returning to 2013’s “Glamour” with “Come Vera Nabokov”. There is obviously room for “Aurora” and “I Cani’s surprising debut album”. Together with him, Niccolò Contessa has enlisted Valerio Bulla, Simone Ciarrocchi, Francesco Bellani, Marcello Newman for the tour.

After the last three dates in Bologna on 5, 6 and 10 November, the tour will stop in Padua for a concert on November 11th, the first of five dates of Rome from 14 to 19 November. The tour will then continue to Milan with three dates, then passing through Venaria (Turin), Florence, Molfetta And Naples.
