Sanremo 2024, Amadeus: “Ariston’s booing of Geolier was unfair”
At the table in the press room is Roberto Bolle, the guest dancer (among others) this evening, Saturday 10 February.
Roberto Bolle:
“Returning to the Festival, for me it’s the third time, is always a great emotion; when Amadeus called me I immediately said yes – even though only last night I was dancing at the Royal Opera House in London. I am very pleased to be able to bring dance to such a popular stage. Tonight I will bring a ballet that I am convinced will also appeal to the public who do not usually follow dance.”
This evening the co-host will be Fiorello. The guests: in addition to Bolle there will be the Army Music Band with the anthem of Mameli, Luca Argentero, Gigliola Cinquetti for the 60th anniversary of “Non ho l’età”, and the special prizes will be awarded. Tananai will be in Piazza Colombo, Tedua on the Costa Smeralda.
Fiorello:
“I think we’re going to have a lot of fun tonight. And thinking about the audience results of this Festival, I would do the Qua Qua dance again at every edition.”
You will find the release order of the singers this evening at this link.
Amadeus:
“I was disappointed by the boos from the audience when Geolier’s victory was announced. Ariston’s disappointment is there, I found the boos unfair. He was disappointed.”
Fiorello:
“To whom do I dedicate this evening? To my family of origin, to my wife and daughters, and to all the people I met and who gave and taught me something. From tourist villages, a school from which I am proud to come, to Claudio Cecchetto, to Maurizio Costanzo, to Giampiero Solari. But if I can only name one name, I will say the producer and impresario Bibi Ballandi, who is too little remembered.”
Amadeus:
“There is not one of these five Festivals that I prefer to remember, each one for one reason or another was memorable”.
Amadeus:
“The day-by-day voting with the details of the individual jury votes will be communicated in detail at the end of the festival”.
Amadeus:
“Rhythmic songs have entered the history of the Festival, but equally slow ones have entered. I don’t think the length of a song affects its speed.”
Are comments on RAI social media moderated? We are reflecting on the possibility of doing so, explains the company.
Amadeus:
“The songs for each Festival are chosen year by year depending on those proposed to me. Someone I wanted and didn’t come? I would have liked to have Mannarino, but when I looked for him he was abroad.”
