Sangiovanni announces the return: “I’m better, I go back to the studio”

In February 2024, after his second participation, as a competitor, at the Sanremo Festival, the Vicenza singer -songwriter Sangiovanni (Giovanni Pietro Damian), he had to, to safeguard his mental health, take a rest period moving away from musical activities.

This choice led to the slip of the release of a new album already scheduled for March 1, 2023 (it would have been his second album) and the cancellation of the concert at the Milan Forum scheduled for October 5, 2023 (Read here).

Since then Sangiovanni has returned to the scenes only in December 2023 with the single “American“(Read here) in which he told his crisis

Today Sangiovanni reappears on social media and, through his Instagram profile, announces with a video (accompanied by his inseparable dog) who is ready to return.

So he says:

Hello guys, how are you? Well, I’m glad to do this video to tell you. I am much better, I went back to the studio to write, to sing, even with him (he refers to the dog with whom he plays during the video). What can I say: I want to thank you for the support you gave me in all this time, all the affection I have received, really was beautiful.

I hope to reciprocate it soon, I hope to see you, I really miss it. Thanks also to the artists, to the people of the show, to all the people who helped me in this period, even if only with a message. I want to thank you a lot because for me it has meant a lot.

We are ready, I would say, to return to make new music, have fun together, feel good together. See you soon, I send you a hug and a beautiful kiss. Bye bye!

Already last October (on 5, the date on which the twenty -two -year -old songwriter had to be exhibited at the Milan forum) had announced the return to the studio and music (Read here). Evidently he preferred to wait again and today announces yet another return.

The unknown remains of when it actually produces something new as well as knowing the fate of the album announced for March 2023.

Sangiovanni was born artistically in 2021 when, at the end of his path in the talent Friends of Maria De Filippiarrives at the final, winning the second in the general classification and the first in the song category.

A few months later, in February 2022, he participated, with “Butterflies“At the Sanremo Festival in the Big category, reaching fifth place in the final ranking. After the public event his first (and for now unique) album”Fall fly”

At the Festival 2023 he participates in the evening of the guest covers of Aries (on the notes of “Permanent Gravity Center” by Franco Battiato). Always that year with Gianni Morandi Performs “Made postponed to the mother to take milk“, On the occasion of the 60 years of Morandi’s hit. The new version finds space on the album of the Bolognese singer.

The stage of the Sanremo Festival welcomes him again in 2024 where he performs with “Finish me“(In 29th place). After that performance Sangiovanni turned off the light. Now it seems that he has found the switch to make clear again in his life.
