Rino Gaetano, the reprint of “Free Entry” is released for his 50th anniversary
The reprint of “Free admission” (Sony Music), the first album by Rino Gaetano published 50 years ago, in July 1974.
“Free admission” it will be available in the formats: 180gr Black Remastered vinyl in 192 Khz with original gatefold cover which contains a short story written by Rino Gaetano and the lyrics of the songs, also in a limited numbered edition with two unpublished photographs and Picture Vinyl with the cover of the album printed 'album.
The single will also be released as a transparent 45 rpm single “You, maybe not essentially you / Your eyes are full of salt”, a rarity for fan collectors. The original copies from 1974, in fact, were destroyed and this makes the new release a unique piece.
It will then be possible to listen for the first time Rino Gaetano in spatial audio. The songs will be available on digital platforms “My brother is an only child”, “Berta Filava”, “Since you want to leave me” and the entire album “More Nuntereggae”.
The reprint comes out a few days later than usual “Rino Gaetano Day” (2 June at Testaccio Estate – City of the Other Economy of Rome), the national event organized since 2011 by the singer-songwriter's family in the persons of Anna and Alessandro Gaetano to remember him on the anniversaries of his death. The event is open to anyone who wants to know or retrace Rino's discography, performed live by Rino Gaetano Band together with many artists and guests. The 2024 edition will support the PES School Edition project of the Associazione Familiari e Vittime della Strada Onlus which travels to schools in memory of Francesco Valdiserri to inform about road safety and responsible fun.
