Ringo Starr Unwell: 2024 US Concerts Cancelled
Ringo Starr has announced that he will have to cut short his fall U.S. tour due to illness. The former Beatles drummer kicked off his tour with his band on September 7 in San Diego and now, after ten shows, he has been forced to cancel the dates originally scheduled for Philadelphia and New York.
“Ringo has come down with a cold and after consulting a doctor, has been advised to cancel the remaining two shows to rest,” reads a post shared on the 84-year-old musician’s social media profiles. It concludes: “As always, Ringo and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them again soon.”
Ringo Starr’s Instagram page has been posting and posting videos about the tour in recent days, and the caption for one clip featuring highlights from the tour read:
“I just want to say thank you to all the amazing people who have come to our shows so far – I love you all. Peace and love from Ringo and the boys.”
Last spring, the ex-Beatle released his new EP “Crooked boy”, released a few months after his previous project “Rewind forward” from last year, successor to “Ep3”, “Change the world” and “Zoom in”.
