Rosalía: Here's What to Expect From Her Fourth Album

Rosalía Releases New Song For Her Birthday

Spanish musician Rosalía Vila Tobella, aka Rosalía, turns 32 today, September 25. On the occasion of her birthday, the artist has decided to give her fans a gift by publishing a new song.

The single in question is titled “Omega” and, made in collaboration with Ralphie Choo, is accompanied by a video shot in Los Angeles, directed by Stillz, with whom the artist had already worked, which sees the protagonists of the song on a roller coaster.

The song was produced by Rosalía herself with Juan Casado Fisac (this is the real name of Ralphie Choo, born in Madrid) together with Noah Goldstein and Dylan Patrice.

“’Omega’ is the end, it’s the celebration of finally finding what you wanted and the certainty of not wanting to let go. ‘Omega’ is the intensity with which the ones you love make you want to be nowhere else but there,” the musician said of the new single: “It was a real pleasure to collaborate with Ralphie, he is a hurricane of energy in the studio! He is also full of positive energy, super creative and incredibly generous. I remember that we sent each other a lot of songs before going into the studio to work on ‘Omega’ because we are both huge music lovers and I quickly realized that our musical tastes were very similar. I immediately had the feeling that we would find ourselves working together in the studio one day and indeed we did! We laughed a lot while writing and while shooting the video. If Ralphie were to call me tomorrow to go to an amusement park together I would go without batting an eyelid. Personally, I feel very grateful for having had the opportunity to collaborate with an artist like him and also for having been a witness to his passion and talent.”

“Omega” arrives just weeks after Rosalía revealed in a recent Highsnobiety cover interview that she’s currently working on the follow-up to her Latin Grammy Award-winning album, 2022’s “Motomami.”
