Perry Farrell: I Owe My Teammates An Apology

Perry Farrell Takes Time To ‘Heal’: ‘He’ll Get Better’

A week after the Jane’s Addiction concert which saw Perry Farrell to lose one’s mind and attack Dave Navarrothe singer’s wife, Etty Lau Farrell, shared a lengthy message on Instagram to provide updates on her husband.

While the band decided to cancel the entire tourand Navarro has hinted that after what happened last week it is very unlikely that the group will get back together, Farrell’s wife has said that he needs to take some time to “reflect” and “heal”, seeking medical attention after the violent outburst on stage.

“With gratitude and humility, we thank you all for your words of love and support,” reads the post shared by Etty Lau Farrell, who, coming after Perry Farrell’s own apology, continues:

“Like attracts like. Kindness attracts kindness. As you know, Perry is the kindest soul alive. We are as surprised by his outburst as you are – but you should know that Perry must have been pushed to the limit… for which we apologize.
We are taking some time for ourselves, to reflect and heal. Perry has already made appointments with an ENT and a neurologist. If you know and love Perry, you know I don’t need to address any more false narratives. Our souls know that.
With all your love, kindness, compassion and support, know that Perry will persevere… He will recover and heal. He will be happy again. And he will return to sharing his music, his vision and his art – without restraints.
Don’t be in any doubt: when he’s ready, he’ll take another great leap over the obstacles, to make us laugh, reflect and change the world together.
Then we can rejoice together. And you will know that we could not have done it without you.”
