On the sidelines of a recent interview for the “Corriere della Sera”, Paolo Bonolis he went back to remembering the time Freddie Mercury hit on him.

The episode dates back to 1985, when the host was not yet 25 years old and was the protagonist of a series of television programs for children, first of all “Bim bum bam”. For his part, the Queen frontman, at the dawn of 40 years old at the time, was preparing to release his first solo album, “Mr. bad guy”. As already told by Bonolis in his autobiography “Why I spoke to myself” in 2019, the meeting with Mercury took place on the sidelines of an event in London thanks to which the two later found themselves at dinner together.

This time, in memory of Giovanna Cavalli for the “Corriere della sera” who underlines: “At 25 years old, in London, met Freddie Mercury who tried it. He replied: “I love your music, I think it's fantastic, but we have different hormonal horizons”, the presenter narrated: “We chatted. And then everyone went their own way. But I was cute you know?“.
