"(What's the story) Morning Glory?" of Oasis, 30 years later

Oasis, Liam confirms new dates: “We’re not even halfway through”

Will the Oasis tour continue in 2026? And if so, will it also arrive in Italy, as Italian fans of the Gallagher brothers hope? The second question is impossible to answer, but the first is answered directly by Liam Gallagher. He does so through a cryptic tweet published on his official account to reply to a fan who wondered how it was possible that “The Hindu Times”, one of the songs contained in the album “Heathen Chemistry”, was not present in the setlist. “Relax. We’re not even at halftime – this is a two-part tour,” wrote the youngest of the Gallagher brothers.

Liam’s words, which do not seem to leave room for who knows what interpretations: the Oasis reunion tour will not end with the South American shows next month, which will see Noel and Liam perform in Buenos Aires (15 and 16 November), Santiago de Chile (19 November) and Sao Paulo (22 November), again supported by Richard Ashcroft, but it will go on. And already at Wembley last month, Liam Gallagher had let slip the news on stage that Oasis would return in 2026.

The 2026 dates are likely to be announced soon after the South American shows in November.

Meanwhile, Oasis have sent the long-awaited reissue of “(What’s the story) Morning glory?” to stores. for the thirty-year anniversary. The reissue, published by Sony Music, includes 2 CDs and 3 LPs, containing five new unplugged versions of some of the songs contained therein. In addition to “Morning glory” itself, there are also those of “Cast no shadow”, “Wonderwall”, “Champagne supernova” and “Acquiesce”. The new unplugged versions were produced and mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho, from the original master tapes, in Noel’s studio, Lone Star Sound in London.
