Marco Mengoni sings “Come saprei” by Giorgia a cappella
Marco Mengoni pays homage to Giorgia live with a thrilling cover of “Come saprei”. It happened last night in Turin, when the “Due vite” singer stopped at the InalpiArena with his new tour of the sports halls. Marco Mengoni began singing a cappella the song with which his colleague won the Sanremo Festival among the big names in 1995: a special tribute, received by the audience of the Turin sports hall. Here is the video:
Marco Mengoni and Giorgia are closely linked to each other. In his early days, after his victory on The two joined forces in 2017 for the single “Come neve”, contained in Giorgia’s live album “Oronero Live”. The voice of “La cura per me” two years ago compared Marco Mengoni to Alex Baroni: “Marco reminds me of him a lot. In 2016, when we recorded ‘Come neve’ together, I struggled a lot in the studio. It gave me shivers”. For his part, Mengoni said of his colleague: “My mother listened to black music a lot and in Italy Giorgia was the icon of Italian black. Thanks to her I embarked on a more soulful path in my musical career”.
Marco Mengoni’s tour will stop in the main Italian sports halls, from the Forum in Milan to the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome, before a series of shows in the major European cities.
