MMW24: who is Montag, live at “GenZ Stage”

Also for the 2024 edition of the Milan Music Week, Rockol presents for the third year the “GenZ Internship“, an evening of live music with 7 emerging artists of the Italian music scene, without distinction of genre, in one of the most famous venues in Milan.

The event is realized in collaboration with TuneCore Italia and is scheduled for Thursday 21 November at 9.30pm at the Ronin.

Among the artists who will perform are Montag, Anna Castiglia, The Snookers, Klaus Noir, Ethan, Niveo and Chyky. Let’s get to know them more closely, one by one.

Assembly

assembly (written in all lower case) is the singer-songwriter project of Pietro Raimondisinger and main songwriter of the lo-fi band Giallorenzo. Peter was born in 1996 in Bergamo, but lives in Milan for several years. The project took shape during adolescence, with a series of unstructured publications and various concerts around Italy, including a tour alongside Tropea and Tonno, openings for Pop List.

In addition to Giallorenzo, Pietro wrote and sang in other more or less vital groups, among which the screamo experience of Majno stands out above all. On april 20, 2023 montag published his first solo album, “Dati”produced by Fight Pausa and also played by Generic Animal. At the end of 2023 he edited the magazine “Dati Sporchi”, published by Under Media, which talks about the Internet and the present through the contributions of authors, meme creators, artists and journalists. In 2024 he published “I don’t know if I’m talking to you”, a collection of poems published by ExCogita, the publishing house founded by Luciano Bianciardi.

Last December 2023 he returned with the single “Chai Tea”, followed by “Fascicolo”, “Gigante” and “Se non passasse aria”, songs that anticipated the new recording project, the EP “Other songs”available from 8 November 2024 for La Tempesta Dischi.

The event is organized by Rockol in collaboration with TuneCore Italia. Entrance is free with registrationwhile places last. It is necessary to participate register at the following address. Places are limited and punctuality is recommended: signing up alone does not guarantee the right to entry.

The venue is Ronin, via Vittorio Alfieri 17, Milan.
