Maurizio Vandelli turns 80
Founder of Equipe 84 in 1963, the man from Modena Maurizio Vandelliprotagonist of the golden period of Italian beat: he was nicknamed “The Prince”, well before Francesco De Gregori – has a rather small solo discography, but not without successes. Still a member ofTeam 84 public “The other side of Maurizio Vandelli”; two more albums followed, in 1989 “September 29, '89” and in 1990 “You're in '90”which almost exclusively contained re-performances of previously released songs. Maurizio Vandelli he also recorded the album “Blues Waltz” with Adelmo and his Sorapis (Zucchero, Dodi Battaglia, Fio Zanotti, Michele Torpedine).
