Concerts 2024, the most anticipated in April
The days are getting longer and the calendars are getting thicker: the year of major live music events is moving rapidly towards its busiest and most exciting season – the summer one – with a spring full of unmissable events for hundreds of thousands of passionate. Here's what awaits us in the next few weeks…
The Italian stars
To end the Easter holidays in style, the Gondar Park Easter Monday Festival, in Gallipoli, offers 7 stages on which 100 artists have been called to perform, including live shows and DJ sets, with – to distract from the mere musical program – amusement park, picnic areas, street artists, vintage markets, acrobatic circus area, juggling shows, games room, writers and street art contest, five-a-side football, beach volleyball, pizzeria, refreshment areas, roastery, snack bar, street food areas, family area and playroom. Returning to the “traditional” live shows, pay attention to the live shows in Rome and Turin Gazellesand at the shows of the Nuclear Tactical Penguins between Jesolo, Milan, Turin, Pesare and Bologna. Italian music lovers, after all, will have appointments to mark in their diaries throughout Italy: come on The Kolorsin action on April 3rd in Milan, to Annalisa and Alfa, expected in Bari on April 12th and 19th respectively.
The international star
The former frontman of Oasis Liam Gallagher stops in Milan on April 6th: on the same evening, still in the city, for heavy metal fans the event not to be missed is the one with Judas Priest by Rob Halford. Again, the Lombard capital, in the second half of the month, is the setting for three events ready to attract fans from all over the country: both start with the Dave Matthews Bandon the 19th, and then continue – the following day, the 20th – with i Simple Mindsand close the beauty, two days later, with slash.
The flagship events
Which live shows, at a national level, have most involved fans, ready to travel so as not to miss the shows of their favorite artists? At the top, certainly, there is the show that gives him AC/DC will be held in Reggio Emilia on May 25th, the only Italian stage of the Power Up Tour, followed by that of Metallica, expected in Milan on May 29th. The super residency of Vasco Rossi at the Meazza stadium of San Siro, always in the shadow of the Madonnina, in June it will bring together hordes of Kom loyalists at the Scala del Calcio, while the most sophisticated pop fans have shown that they have appreciated the date of Lana Del Rey, again in Milan, on June 4th. Great success also for the dates Ed Sheeran – on June 8th – in Lucca and of Olivia Rodrigo – on 9 June – in Bologna, while Milan will once again take center stage among pop-punk and K-pop enthusiasts, respectively with concerts by Green Day – June 16th – e Stray Kids, on July 12. Without forgetting, obviously, two of the most anticipated events of the entire Italian live year: the Milan stage, in mid-July, of Taylor Swiftand the descent of the Rammstein on Reggio Emilia, on 21 July.
