Inhaler, Bono’s son’s band is back: here is the new single
Here are the Inhalers again. Elijah Hewson’s band, the son of U2’s Bono Vox, is back. The group, recordally stuck at “Cuts and bruises” in 2023, the second album which arrived two years after the 2021 debut with “It won’t always be like this”, has just released another taste of its new album: after “Your house” and the title track “Open wide”, now it’s the turn of “A question for you”. Speaking about the song, 25-year-old Elijah Hewson says:
For me this is a love song, which talks about how you must first be honest with yourself to be honest with someone else. Like, ‘I have to solve my problems so I can be with other people.’ It’s also a question of soul mates. The choir really turned the corner here.
“Open wide” will arrive in stores and on streaming platforms on February 7th. Inhaler began working on it last year, recording it in London with producer Kid Harpoon (already alongside Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles and Florence and the Machine). From a sound point of view, according to the previews with the songs contained in the album Hewson and associates will celebrate their love for bands such as T.Rex, MGMT and Depeche Mode, but also for artists such as Prince.
The Inhaler have announced their only Italian concert on April 26, 2025 at the Fabrique in Milan. Before them they will perform Blossoms.
