Oasis, Liam Gallagher freezes fans on tour in Europe
“When will the Oasis concerts be announced in Europe?”: the question has now become a catchphrase for European fans of the “Wonderwall” band. After the sensational announcement of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s reunion tour with the series of concerts in the United Kingdom and Ireland scheduled for the summer of this year, European Oasis fans – starting with the Italian ones – began to wait with I’m looking forward to the dates of an entire tour in the Old Continent. The announcement of the tour in the United Kingdom and Ireland was followed by concerts in South America, Asia, Oceania, the United States, but not in Europe. Now Liam Gallagher is freezing fans on the topic. Making many of their hopes vanish.
Replying on Or: “We won’t play in Europe.”
Brutal truth or just a way to continue to keep fans on their toes, fueling the desire of Italian, French, Spanish, German, Dutch and so on fans to be able to attend a show by the reunited Gallagher brothers? Maybe.
“Oasis Live”, as Oasis have named their reunion tour, will start on July 4th from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. After the shows in the United Kingdom and Ireland, on August 24th the tour will land on the other side of the Atlantic, for the series of concerts scheduled between Canada, the United States and Mexico: the American debut is set for August 24th by Rogers Stadium in Toronto. The tour will then continue until November between Asia, Oceania and South America.
