Iggy Pop: “The Passenger” in a new live version

Iggy Pop released a new live version of “The passenger”, recorded last year at Montreux Jazz Festival. The song arrives as a new preview of the live album which, arriving on January 24th, testifies to the musician’s concert on July 6th 2023 at the Stravinski Auditorium where Iggy Pop performed on the billboard of the historic event to celebrate his career and his catalogue.

Iggy Pop on stage at the Montreux Jazz Festival, for his third appearance at the event, was accompanied by a seven-piece band with a set that included both songs from his period with Stooges that take from his solo repertoire, also including pieces from the latest album “EveryLoser” (here is our review).

After the recording of “Five foot one”, the live album is now preceded by the live version of Iggy Pop’s classic, accompanied by the video below:
