This is a track dating back to 1996 and was created by Foreigner featuring both Lou Gramm and Mick Jones, co-written with Marty Frederiksen. As explained in an interview with the US edition of “Billboard”, Gramm and Jones recently reworked the song, with the same title as the collection “Turning back the time”, for the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and said: “The feeling of the song has revealed itself to us now more than everand with the upcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we thought now was the perfect time to let the world hear it.”

Formed in 1976 and thus eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame since 2002, Foreigner have long been ignored by the institution. As reported by the US edition of “Rolling Stone” – this year the producer Mark Ronsonwhose stepfather is none other than Mick Jones, He joined forces on social media with Dave Grohl, Slash, Jack Black, Chad Smith and Josh Homme to support the band’s induction into the R&R Hall of Fame.
