Fedez invited to the National Congress of Youth of Forza Italia

Fedez was invited to National Congress of Youth of Forza Italiascheduled for May 31 at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome. The news was announced by Maurizio Gasparrigroup leader in the Senate of Forza Italia, during an event against bullying and confirmed by the secretary of the youth movement at the press conference in Montecitorio.

Gasparri explained that, despite the controversy passed with the Milanese rapper, they had a constructive confrontation on the theme of youth discomfort, which led to the invitation of Fedez to the congress. “We invited him, I think he comes. Lately he has matured many reflections on youth discomfort.” And the youth discomfort will be the theme on which it should intervene.

The young people of Forza Italia described Fedez as a “super guest“In a recent radio program, Fedez said he preferred Roberto Vannacci to Elly Schlein in a hypothetical ballot, highlighting a frustration against the left and complaining about the lack of dialogue between the different political positions. Furthermore Federico Lucia criticized the movements for rights, claiming that they lost sight of their priorities and focused on superfluous issues, leaving space for the right forces.

In the past, Fedez and Gasparri had had public clashes, with rather heated exchanges of accusations. The presence of the artist at the next congress could be an opportunity for reconciliation, highlighting a change in political and social dynamics.

“His presence will create a lot of debate, but we are honored to have it among us,” said Stefano Benigni the secretary of the youth movement at the press conference. “With Fedez we have different positions on many themes, notoriously, but it is a reference figure for the young people who has repeatedly entered the political debate”.
“We believe – he added – can confront us on themes that we consider significant and relevant such as youth discomfort, mental health. We believe that with him there can be a healthy and important confrontation for many young people”.
