Lelio Luttazzi: an exhibition and a concert to celebrate it
The Foundation Lelio Luttazzi The great protagonist of the Italian show and king of Swing, with the exhibition entitled “celebrates fifteen years after his death) from his death)Lelioswing – The music and style of Lelio Luttazzi“And a concert entitled”Music Festival for Lelio Luttazzi“, which will be held at the Forte Santa Tecla di Sanremo in June 2025.
The exhibition, which will take place from 5 to 29 Juneit is an exploration in the musical and personal universe of Lelio Luttazzi (1923 – 2010). Curated by the Lelio Luttazzi Foundation, the exhibition will offer a rich and varied path, including original scores and manuscripts, photographs, rare films, drawings and caricatures that reveal the ironic side of the artist, as well as vintage magazines and newspapers that testify to its significant cultural influence. Luminous signs that recall his presence in the world of entertainment and clothes that belonged to him will also be exhibited.
The culmination of the entire celebration will take place Saturday 21 June 2025during the music festival, with a concert entitled “Music Festival for Lelio Luttazzi“. The event will be held at the terraces of the ramparts of Forte Santa Tecla and will see the participation of Freddy Colt and His Swing Kidswho will perform the famous Melodies of Luttazzi, recreating the atmosphere of his elegant and engaging swing
Lelio Luttazzi was a multifaceted artist who held different roles: musician, showman, actor, writer, television and radio presenter (his legendary hit parade), composer and conductor.

The Lelioswing exhibition and the concert represent a tribute to an extraordinary talent and offer a unique opportunity to rediscover the genius of an artist who deeply loved swing and beyond. Lelio Luttazzi himself expressed his passion for Black music and among his favorite plays there were great composers such as Gershwin, Puccini, Cole Porter, Kern and Berlin.
