BTS, live again – premiere on Netflix, March 21st
BTS’s return to stadiums, which will include 79 concerts on five continents and will start in April in Goyang, South Korea, and then continue until 2027, will be preceded by a live concert that will be streamed live exclusively on Netflix on March 21st (in Italy it will be 1 am on the 22nd). The title of the event, which will be the first ever to be broadcast globally from Korea, will be “BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang”, it will be directed by Hamish Hamilton and will be held at Gwanghwamun in Seoul, South Korea, the day after the album’s international release Arirang.
“Arirang” is BTS’ first new album in six years. Due out March 20, it will be their fifth studio album and will follow 2020’s “Be.”
Also on Netflix will be available from March 27 “BTS: The Return”, the documentary, directed by Bao Nguyen, on the group’s return after the long break (to complete their compulsory military service in South Korea). A few solo projects had been released before the reunion album, including J-Hope’s “Jack in the Box” (2022), RM’s “Indigo” (2022), and Jimin’s “Face” (2023).
“Arirang” is BTS’ first full-length album in six years. BTS will embark on their massive stadium tour, which will include 79 concerts across five continents, next April in Goyang, South Korea, and then continue until 2027.
