Black Flag, The return: new music (and training) after 12 years

“We are turning the page. The Black Flag enter a new era”: so the Black Flag announced surprisingly, with a post published on their official social channels, their imminent return. Twelve years after “What the …”, the latest album released, the hardcore punk band led by Greg Ginn is preparing to make their fans listen to new materials. Ginn has reconstructed the group practically from scratch, after the vicissitudes of these years: in the same post with which he has made fans know to keep ready for the group’s return, the leader has also revealed the names of the new components of the training, Max Zanelli on the voice, David Rodriguez on bass and Bryce Weston on drums. Three names totally unknown to the band’s followers.

“The new training is already in the studio and busy with the tests. He is writing, playing and bringing new energies,” reads the post. And again: “Concerts and new music are coming”.
