Beyoncé beats Oasis: the highest-grossing tours in 2025

Pollstar, the reference magazine for the live sector, has released data on the live industry, with the ranking of the most successful tours of 2025. In first place in the world ranking is Beyoncé, who with her Cowboy Carter Tour grossed 407.6 million dollars with an average ticket price of 255 dollars for around 1 million and 600 thousand tickets.
Immediately behind are Oasis, returning to the scene after over 15 years, with an estimated gross of 405.4 million for the Oasis Live ’25 tour, which had an average price of 181 dollars for just over 2 million and 200 thousand tickets. Third place for Coldplay, who with the new year of the neverending tour Music of the Spheres: in 2025 alone the band grossed 390.5 million dollars with 2.9 million tickets sold, the highest number of the year, for an average price of 133 dollars.

Pollstar notes that the concert industry ends 2025 slightly down from 2024 records, while remaining at much higher levels than pre-pandemic. According to the report, the overall turnover of the 100 most profitable tours of the year was 8.9 billion dollars, 6.1% less than 2024 but still 60% more than 2019, the last full year before the pandemic. Tickets sold were 67.3 million, down 3.7% compared to last year but almost 10 million more than in 2019. The average ticket price dropped slightly to $132.62 (-2.4%), while the average takings per concert increased by 9.2%, exceeding $2.5 million per show. The average audience per concert (19,104 spectators) reached a new record.
