Area Sanremo 2024, registrations open

Following the announcement of Carlo Conti’s participation as artistic director of Area Sanremo 2024the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra Foundation has Registrations for the competition are now open which this year will allow a young talent under 27 to have guaranteed access to the Festival in the “New Proposals” category.

Applications can be sent from today, September 23, until 11.59 on October 14, 2024 on the website www.area-sanremo.it. Registrations are open for young independent talents under 27 who dream of a place at the next Sanremo Festival. In the month of November will then be held at the Palafiori auditions with the commission coordinated by Carlo Conti and a program full of “experiences”: collateral and training activities organized by the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra Foundation which will also involve the city.

Attorney Filippo Biolé, president of the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra Foundation, said in a press release: “In a few weeks we will communicate the official dates of the auditions on the website www.area-sanremo.it, together with a program of training initiatives and collateral events designed to enrich the experience of the candidates who will reach Sanremo and that we are developing with various local entities, professionals in the sector and with the Municipality of Sanremo. Year after year we have in fact set ourselves the goal of making what we have called ‘Sanremo Experience Area‘. An opportunity that we want to offer young talents to return home after the audition – whatever the outcome – enriched with knowledge, meetings and experiences useful for their path”.
