Andrea Bocelli and David Guetta together for the World Cup anthem

Andrea Bocelli will be the protagonist voice of the official anthem of the football World Cup. “DNA”, as the song that will be the soundtrack to the tournament, which will debut on June 11, is titled, was unveiled today and features the Italian tenor, the French DJ David Guetta, the American rapper Megan Thee Stallion and the Korean singer EJAE of the Demon Hunters.

Presented today by FIFA in Mexico, “DNA” will accompany the 2026 World Cup, the first in history to be held in three countries – Canada, Mexico and the United States – and in 16 host cities, with 48 participating national teams.

“The title of the song, ‘DNA’, says it all. Football has always been part of my life and will continue to have a special place in my heart,” says Andrea Bocelli. “Being invited to perform the anthem of the FIFA World Cup and participate in the opening ceremony is an honor that moves me deeply. It also fills me with joy and gratitude to return to Mexico City, a city that has always welcomed me with extraordinary warmth. Singing the official anthem together with EJAE and David Guetta is a collaboration that I will cherish with great affection. To all the fans who will gather in stadiums, in living rooms and in squares around the world: it is for you that we sing.”

“DNA” will also be part of the official album of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and will represent one of the central elements of the musical program developed by the international federation in view of the largest and most inclusive edition in the history of the football World Cup.
