Aerosmith, Joe Perry on New Album: “There’s a Chance”

Not just the farewell tour. Aerosmith could say goodbye to their fans with an unexpected gift: a new album of unreleased material, their last. Steven Tyler and his friends haven’t released one in twelve years, as many as have passed since the release of “Music for another dimension!”. It was 2012.

In an interview with Rock Candy magazine, Joe Perry, the guitarist of the band of “I don’t want to miss a thing” released some statements that aim to keep fans’ hopes alive:

I’m writing stuff for the new Hollywood Vampires record right now. But that’s a whole other thing. As for Aerosmith, I don’t know. We’ll see. There’s definitely a possibility, but right now we’re thinking about the tour schedule and what songs we can play.

Aerosmith’s farewell tour, after a false start a few months ago due to Steven Tyler’s health problems, will restart on September 20th in Pittsburgh. A total of forty dates are scheduled between September and February 2025.
