A light rocket is launched at the Oasis live show, Liam gets angry
Liam Gallagher attacked the “really crazy person” who launched a flare into the crowd at a concert Oasis at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, last night, at the start of the Australian branch of their ‘Live ’25’ tour with the first of three concerts scheduled in Melbourne, before two live shows scheduled in Sydney next week.
The incident occurred while the British band was performing “Champagne Supernova”the last song in the setlist, when two red light rockets were launched towards the audience of the sold out stadium in every row of seats without, fortunately, injuring anyone.
A fan at the concert told an Australian news agency that Liam had initially reacted to seeing the rocket by saying “bad bad bad” to the person who launched it, and then followed up his thoughts with more blunt words on social media where he bluntly addressed the person by writing: “To the huge prick who launched that rocket into the crowd last night at the Melbourne concert, you are one hell of an individual and trust me, you’ll get yours.”
Australian police said there were no arrests at the stadium last night, and the rocket launch was not reported. As reported by Billboard, security carried out meticulous checks of backpacks at the entrance and it is not yet clear how the rockets could have entered the concert venue.
