Victoria De Angelis on stage for Halloween with Duran Duran
Last night i Duran Duran performed for an audience at Co-op Live in Manchester, England on the fifth date of the fall leg of their tour ‘Europe 2025’. During the set the English band proposed more than one cover drawing from other people’s repertoire: come on Specials to Cerronepassing through Siouxsie and the Banshees, Mike Sharpe and Electric Light Orchestra.
Those present had a surprise at the end of the concert when i Duran Duran – fully dressed up for the occasion to celebrate Halloween – hosted the bassist of the band on stage Maneskin Victoria De Angelis on the notes of “Girls on Film” and of “Psycho Killer” of the Talking Heads. Victoria, armed with a bass and white wings, reappeared on stage with the band also for the first encore of the evening, “The wild boys”.
The link between Duran Duran and Victoria is long-standing. The Roman bassist had in fact played “Psycho Killer” on the album Halloween themed published by the group of Simon LeBon in 2023 “Macabre Dances” (read the review here). Naturally, given the anniversary, the songs from that album were offered in large quantities last night.
