Vasco seems to have confirmed the concerts at the Olimpico in Rome
Vasco Rossi seems to have confirmed the concerts at the Olympic Stadium in Romewhere – according to rumors – he will hold the residency with which in 2027 he will celebrate his fifty-year career in front of a total of 500 thousand spectators. The “Jubilee of Vasco”, the event has already been renamed. After announcing that the Capital will host the celebrations, without however revealing further details, in the last few hours the rocker from Zocca has relaunched a clue via an Instagram story which seems to confirm that The Olimpico will be the epicenter of the celebrations.
The rocker reshared a post originally published by a fan page, Vascolisti Anonymous: a poster generated with artificial intelligence with the writing “Jubilee of Vasco” and underneath “Residency Roma 2027”. So far nothing new. But behind the rocker, two symbolic places of the Eternal City appear in the fake poster: on one side the Colosseum and on the other what appears to be the Olympic Stadium. The Colosseum option appears to be decidedly – that’s an understatement – impractical. The rest comes by itself. Here is the poster shared by Vasco:
According to rumours, there will be at least ten shows scheduled at the Olympic Stadium in the summer of 2027, all of which should take place in the month of June.
But what did the official announcement say about Live Nationwho organizes the rocker’s shows, arrived ten days ago? «It will therefore be Rome, starting from next spring and then throughout the month of June, to open the doors of its most prestigious places by hosting the largest live event (and not only) ever held in the history of Italian music. The Capital, the Eternal City, will become the heart of the celebrations dedicated to an infinite career that continues to unite different generations through the music, emotions and freedom told by his songs.” Translated: not just concerts. The “Jubilee of Vasco” will also include a series of other initiatives (exhibitions? gatherings?). And again: «A historic gathering (not for a single evening therefore but which will cover several months) for a historic anniversary and with a grand finale when everything will move there, where everything really comes to life: under the stage». In short, the feeling is that the shows at the Olimpico will represent the culmination of the celebrations.
Concert dates are expected to be revealed later this month. Maybe the June 29thfrom the stage of the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine, where Vasco will close the 2026 tour (tomorrow and June 19th Vasco will be at the San Nicola Stadium in Bari, on June 23rd and 24th at the Del Conero Stadium in Ancona). This year’s tour was announced on June 11, 2025, in the middle of last summer’s tour. Tickets should then go on sale in early July. Before the general sale, there will be a presale reserved for members of the Blasco Fan Clubthe official fanclub of the voice of “Vita spericolata”. And that the announcement is just around the corner can be understood precisely from a communication released by the fanclub itself, which in recent days announced the opening of registrations for 2027, specifying that members will have access to the presale of tickets for next year’s concerts reserved for the fanclub.
Vasco’s series of shows at the Olympic Stadium is expected to start in early June. In fact, until 30 May 2027, the Olimpico will be the prerogative of Roma and Lazio, the two teams from the capital. Lazio will play at home on the last day, that of May 30th. On average, it takes a week to set up the stage for a show like Vasco’s and assemble the sound and lighting system. The debut should take place either on the weekend of June 12-13 or on June 19-20but the first hypothesis is more likely. Then, on 30 June, once his residency is over, Vasco will leave the facility to Achille Lauro, who is expected at the Olimpico on the evening of 30 June itself and that of 1 July 2027.
