Vasco: the “Gallo” will skip the 2026 tour
The ‘Rooster’ was already ready to sing, as always when talking about Vasco. Everything was ready and agreed for his return “home”, on the stage of the Rimini stadium: again this year Claudio Golinelli he would have been one of the special guests of Vasco Rossi’s tour. It couldn’t be otherwise: the Imola native, Blasco’s historic bassist, shares a fraternal bond with him that has lasted for 46 years. “I couldn’t wait to do ‘It’s Just Us’, ‘Bring Me God’ and ‘You Shoot Him…’.” But nine days after the concert, ‘il Gallo’ announces his forced stop due to health problems, as reported by various media, including the Resto del Carlinoand by some fan clubs. It is not the first forced stop for the musician, who has already overcome a tumor in the past and underwent a liver transplant in 2020. Behind each of his rebirths there is a real “guardian angel” who binds ‘il Gallo’ even more to Rimini: Dr. Fabio Piscaglia, luminary from Rimini, director of the school of specialization in internal medicine at the University of Bologna. It is he who coordinated the transplant process and who once again got him back on his feet. “It’s painful to have to give up the tour. But I’ll be back playing soon – promises Golinelli – both with Vasco and in Rimini”.
