Sal Da Vinci: "Am I among the favourites? I make superstitious gestures..."

Sal Da Vinci: the video of the rehearsals at the Eurovision Song Contest

A very Italian wedding, in which at a certain point the bride removes her veil and the veil itself reveals the tricolor flag inside: after the previews of the last few days, the video of Sal Da Vinci’s official rehearsals on the stage of the event with his “Per semper Sì” has been published on the official channels of the Eurovision Song Contest. Accompanying the Neapolitan singer-songwriter in the performance will be the dancers Marcello Sacchetta (historical face of “Amici” and creator of the ballet “Per semper Sì”) and Francesca Tocca. It was Sacchetta himself who signed the staging, or rather the staging, of Sal Da Vinci’s performance at Eurovision. «When Italians act like Italians, incredible strength comes out. Italy makes itself heard in this case. When we are all united we have incredible strength”, said the singer-songwriter, connecting from Vienna, during the Rai presentation of the competition, scheduled from 12 to 16 May (read also: How many chances does Sal Da Vinci have of winning Eurovision). Here is the video of the tests below:

Sal Da Vinci will perform out of competition during the first semi-final, the one on Tuesday 12th. Italy is in fact a finalist by right, since together with the United Kingdom, Spain (which however is not participating this year, since it decided to boycott the event to protest against Israel’s participation), Germany and France it is among the so-called “Big 5”, i.e. the major economic supporters of the EBU, the European Broadcasting Authority which organizes the show.
