Bruno Mars, “The romantic” tour has started: setlist and video

All the answers that Italian fans were waiting for, from the setlist to the set-up, have finally arrived: Bruno Mars’ “The romantic tour” started last night from Las Vegas, with the first of 78 dates scheduled around the world until the end of the year, including the two on 14 and 15 July at the San Siro Stadium in Milan. The voice of “Uptown funk” made its debut from Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, where it will do an encore tonight, in front of around 70 thousand spectators (there will be as many tonight). In the set list are all the songs from the new album, the one that gives the album its title, except “Nothing left”. Mars opened the concert with “Risk it all”, “Cha cha cha” and “On my soul”, taken from the album released last February, before dusting off hits such as “24k magic” and “Treasure”. At the end he played “When I was your man”, “Locked out of heaven”, “Just the way you are” and “Uptown funk” one after the other. With him on stage is the band The Holligans, which has accompanied him live since 2010, composed of Philip Lawrence (backing vocals/backing vocals), Jamareo Artis (bass), Eric Hernandez (drums), Kameron Whalum (trombone), Dwayne Dugger (sax) and James King (trumpet).

The tour will tour the United States until the end of May, then land in Europe on June 18 for the first of three dates at the Stade de France in Paris. He will arrive in Italy on 14 and 15 July: waiting for him are over 120 thousand fans who have pulverized tickets for the two events at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Bruno Mars’ first on Italian soil in nine, very long years.
