BTS: 260,000 people in Seoul for the comeback live

BTS have kicked off their record-breaking tour

Bts kicked off their record-breaking tour, the one linked to the new album “Arirang”, which marked the return of the South Korean boy band after six years. After the performance last March 21st in Gwanghwamun Square, the largest square in Seoul, in front of thousands of adoring fans, broadcast live in 190 countries on Netflix, the group officially returned to the stage on Thursday evening, when from the Goyang Stadium in the South Korean city they launched the tour which for now includes 79 concerts in total, with stops in 34 countries and takings estimated at 2.7 trillion won, i.e. 1.8 billion dollars, a figure that would allow Bts to rival Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour”. A return which, as written by Rockol, is much more than a simple musical comeback.

After the first date, Thursday, the group’s singers will return to perform at the Goyang Stadium again today and then again tomorrow, before leave for Japan, the United States, Mexico, Spain, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and then Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Australia and the Philippines. At the moment, no stops are planned in Italy, where Bts are very popular (even if our country was one of the few in the world in which their new album “Arirang” did not debut directly at the top of the Fimi weekly best-selling chart, beaten by Nayt’s “Io,individual”). But the tour will also continue in 2027 and Bts have promised that they will soon announce new dates.

The setlist includes 23 songs, including songs taken from the album “Arirang” and the hits that have allowed the group, in recent years, to make the history of pop culture of the new millennium. Here are the videos and, below, the lineup:
