Dominguinho, tomorrow’s date in Milan sold out: who I am
The concert in Milan by Dominguinho, the trio made up of Brazilians João Gomes, Jota.pê and the accordionist Mestrinho, is officially sold out. The show, scheduled for tomorrow evening at the Magazzini Generali in Milan, was sold out in advance. The organizers let it be known that no tickets will be available at the box office.
Dominguinho is a musical project formed by three artists highly appreciated in the contemporary Brazilian popular music scene. The trio brings together João Gomes (a young singer of enormous success in the modern piseiro/forró genre, known for his emotional voice and romantic melodies), Jota.pê (singer-songwriter linked to the new MPB, or Música Popular Brasileira, with soul and indie influences) and Mestrinho (accordion virtuoso, highly respected in forró and northeastern music, collaborator of great Brazilian artists).
The Dominguinho project was born as an artistic meeting between three musicians of different generations and styles, with the aim of celebrating the musical tradition of the Brazilian Northeast, especially the forró, mixing it with contemporary sounds and refined arrangements. The three have over 13 million total monthly listeners on Spotify and over 190 million total streams for the album “Dominguinho”, released exactly one year ago.
