Lola Young returns to the stage after the forced break due to exhaustion
Lola Young announces his live return with a concert at the London Palladium on Wednesday 4 March. It will be the first headlining performance of 2026 for the London-based singer, who last year had to cancel her tour due to exhaustion after collapsing on stage in New York. The singer will return to the stage with a collected and intense set, alternating songs from the new album “I’m Only Fucking Myself” with the hits that made her famous, including “Messy”, the single that earned her her first Grammy in the Best Pop Solo Performance category last weekend.
“Playing live is everything to me, and asking my fans to support me after the tour was canceled is not something I take for granted,” Young said. “I can’t satisfy all the tickets sold previously, but I hope that in the future, with bigger concerts, the fans will continue to follow me.” Lola Young will also be among the most nominated artists at the 2026 BRIT Awards, with nominations for Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Artist, Song of the Year for “Messy”, Alternative/Rock Act and Pop Act. She will also perform at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 15. Last year, after the cancellation of the American dates, Young announced a break from live shows and all commitments to focus on mental well-being. Among the messages of support received, SZA thanked the singer for her honesty, while Victoria Canal recalled how life as a musician on tour can be mentally exhausting. Tickets for the concert March 4th will go on sale Wednesday February 11th to 10:00 GMT.
