Ten years ago, in 2015, Sam Beam of the Iron and wine And Ben Bridwell of the Band of Horses they collaborated for the cover album “Sing Into My Mouth “ (Read the review here). Now they have granted the encore with the EP “Making good time”out on September 12th. To open the EP is a cover of “Luther”passage of Kendrick Lamar and Sza included in the album “Gnx” (Read the review here) published in November 2024.

In a press release
Ben Bridwell
He explained: “I chose to focus on ‘Luther’ after finding myself in difficulty asking me which songs would have been better to propose. After thinking about it a lot, it came to my mind: ‘Why not simply sing my favorite song?’ I had listened to the album “Gnx”, just released, and that song in particular with my girls until the exhaustion. ”
