Xandria and Sirenia: dates and times for their live show in Italy
Symphonic metal lovers know very well Xandria And Sireniathe two bands engaged in a tour that sees them co-headlining on the stages of the main European cities.
Their concert will arrive in Italy in a few days: on Saturday 23 November 2024 they will be at the Alchemica Music Club in Bologna.
The Italians will perform at the opening of the evening Genus Ordinis Dei.
The Xandria they come from Germany where they were born in 1997. However, we had to wait until 2003 to see, after the publication of demos, their first album entitled “Kill The Sun”
After the fourth album, in 2008, singer Lisa Middelhauve (in the band since 2000) left the group and her place was taken in 2009 by Kerstin Bishof who however left the German band exactly one year later, replaced by Manuela Kraller.
However, the latter also left the group to pursue a solo career and Dianne Van Giersbergen took her place. In 2017 the last singer was forced to abandon due to health problems and Aeva Maurelle entered temporarily for the European tour dates in November and December. From 2022 Ambre Vourvahis will be behind the microphone.
Since its inception the band has been in the hands of guitarist Marco Heubaum. Their discography consists of eight albums released between 2003 and 2023, the year in which “The Wonders Still Awaiting”
THE Sirenia they come from Stavanger, a town in Norway and were formed in 2001 and for them too there is an alternation of singers. The first was Fabienne Gondamin, hired for the first album “At Sixes and Sevens” in 2002. For the tour of her debut album she was replaced by Henriette Bordvik who in 2005 gave her place to Monika Pedersen, who in turn left the band in 2007. From 2007 to 2016 the Spanish Ailyn was at the microphone, in turn replaced by Emmanuelle Zoldan, who is still part of the group as a vocalist.
From 2002 to 2023 the Norwegians have released 11 albums.
