“Wild God” is the new album by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

Five years after the release of “Ghosteen” (read the review here), Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds announce the release of the new album “Wild God” for next August 30th. The first single, the title track, anticipates the release of the album.

“I hope the album has the effect on listeners that it had on me,” he says Nick Cave. “It explodes out of the speaker and I'm blown away. It's a complicated record, but it's also deeply and joyfully infectious. There's never a master plan when we make a record. Rather, the records reflect the emotional state of the writers and musicians who make them they played. Listening to this, I don't know, it seems like we're happy.”

The album is produced by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis and mixed by David FridmannCave began writing the album on New Year's Day 2023. During sessions at Miraval in Provence and London's Soundtree, the Bad Seeds were joined Colin Greenwood (low) e Luis Almau (classical guitar, acoustic guitar).
