Venerus, the new album is “hopefully”
Venerus has announced the release of his new unreleased album, entitled “Hopefully”, available from Friday 7 November 2025: the album will be published by Asian Fake with Emi Records / Universal Music Italia. The album was anticipated by the individual “I think of you” and “Felini” (in collaboration with Marco Castello – here the review), and will be preceded by a new song, “impossible”, out tomorrow, Friday 3 October.
The announcement arrives at the end of a four -day performance (from 29 September to 2 October) which took place in Paritoserra – installation of public art at the Lancetti station in Milan, in which Venerus wrote and canceled the lyrics of the album songs in real time, visible in streaming and live.
At the same time, the cover artwork was also revealed, an oil picture made by Cleopatria, which portrays Venerus in a naturalistic context, in dialogue with the themes of the album.
The album was produced by Filippo Cimatti. Venerus anticipates him like this
‘We hope’ is the most representative expression of the time we live: just leave the house and pay attention to the conversations of passers -by, to the commentators on the radio, to any human voice that so often lands on this deep foothold. A confident abandoning itself into the hands of fate.
The album comes two years after the second album “Il Segreto”, of which we wrote:
Ssa travels the mind like all the works of the singer -songwriter, is metaphysical and lunar, but also terrestrial, artisan and concrete.
