The former drummer of Guns N’ Roses, Matt Sorumduring an interview published on the channel YouTube Get On The Busamong other topics, talked about his time with i Velvet Revolver expressing the firm belief that the group composed not only of him but also of Guns N’ Roses Slash And Duff McKagan together with the former singer of Stone Temple Pilots Scott Weiland had all it takes to replicate the band’s success Axl Rose.

Says Sorum without a hint of regret: “Velvet Revolver weren’t as big as Guns N’ Roses, but they could have been. They just didn’t last long enough.”
