Vasco Rossi: new single coming soon?
He hasn’t released a new song in over two years. The last one was, in September 2023, “The mistakes you make”, soundtrack of the Netflix series “The survivor”. Now Vasco Rossi seems to be ready to return to the recording scene, or almost. The clue comes from social media: the rocker published a photo on Instagram of himself in the recording studio in Los Angeles. The caption of the post quotes the verses of “And now it’s my turn”, one of the songs contained, in a live version, in “Vasco live 2025 – The essentials”. But the photo is new: Vasco is in Los Angeles in recent weeks. “A little sun, a little wind… and the freedom to be where I want. The rest can wait,” he wrote in a previous social media post.
On the eve of the debut of his last tour, last April, the rocker from Zocca in an interview with La Stampa had hinted that he had a song in his hands ready to be published: “I’m keeping it in the drawer at least until the concert, then I’ll see. I don’t know if I’ll make it known, there’s still a lot of time between now and the end of May. I don’t feel the need for new songs now, once upon a time I really felt the need: but perhaps because I already have so many”, he said. In the end the release of the song was postponed: unlike what has happened in recent years, Vasco this time went on tour without even an unreleased song to present live.
