Vasco Rossi: “I’m writing a song dedicated to women”
A song by Vasco dedicated to all women.
A sort of “Sally” 2. But this time he won’t be singing it. The rocker from Zocca announced via social media that he is working on a new song dedicated to the female universe, “a suitable and current dedication”, together with Roberto Casini, among his main collaborators: together with the author, Rossi has signed songs such as “It’s the whiskey’s fault”, “Oh yeah”, “I’m innocent”, “Wait for me”, “Damn you’re so beautiful”, “Love, love”, “Rain on Sunday”, just to name a few. “We give it away and it will be interpreted, on behalf of everyone, by Denise Faro, singer performer and dearest friend of ours”, announces Vasco, posting some images that portray him at work in the studio together with Casini himself and the singer, 35 years old, Roman but from based in Los Angeles – where Vasco has lived for some time and where the two met. The song should be titled “Libera libera”.
Denise Faro was already chosen by Vasco Rossi in 2019 to open his concerts at the San Siro Stadium in Milan. Already in the cast of “Juliet and Romeo” by Riccardo Cocciante and Pasquale Panella – between 2007 and 2008 she played the role of the protagonist, sharing it with two other performers – the singer and actress starred in some musicals linked to the Disney world such as “High School Musical” and “Patty’s World”. In 2010 you participated in the Mexican talent show “La academia bicentenario”. She has several singles to her credit, from 2009’s “I Just Wanna Be with You” to “Jacuzzi”
It is not the first time that Vasco writes for a female voice. In the past he has written songs that were later brought to success by – among others – Patty Pravo (“E dimmi che non viso mori”, 1997), Irene Grandi (“La tua girlfriend semper”, 2000), Noemi (“Empty to lose” , 2011) and Emma Marrone (“Io sono bella”, 2019).
