Vasco Brondi: his music for Paolo Cognetti’s film

For the first time ever the singer-songwriter Vasco Brondi he tries his hand at writing a soundtrack and signs the original music for “My Flower”The film written, directed and interpreted for the first time by the writer Paul Cognettiwhich will have its world premiere at the 77th Locarno Film Festival as a pre-opening event on August 6 in Piazza Grande.

For the occasion Vasco Brondi in addition to the film’s soundtrack, he wrote and performed an unreleased song, “Listening to the trees”inserted in the film’s credits which will arrive at the cinema on November 25, 26 and 27.

It is a brotherly friendship that has tied Vasco Brondi and Paolo Cognetti together for several years, born from mutual artistic esteem and sealed by a common love for the mountains and literary and spiritual research, as well as by shared travels and experiences. It was like this it’s natural that Paolo involved Vasco in writing the original music for his first film as director.

Before this experience, Vasco Brondi had already approached cinema by writing and recording the song “A cinematic long shot” for the movie “Rust” Of Daniel Gaglianone in 2011, with the project The Lights of the Power Plant.

After Spring club tour this summer Vasco Brondi he is busy with the tour in the main festivals
