Tony Iommi told Eddie Van Halen: 'You're doing it wrong'

Tony Iommi Releases Instrumental “Deified”

Tony Iommi has released a new instrumental song titled “Deified” for the launch of Xerjoff’s perfume called, precisely, Deified. The guitarist of Black Sabbath co-produced the song with the keyboardist Mike Exeter. In addition to them they played Karl Brazil on drums, Laurence Cottle on bass with orchestration by Well Andrew.

This is the second time that
Tony Iommi
collaborates with Xerjoff, in 2021 he composed the instrumental
“Scent of Dark”
for the Monkey Special perfume. In a statement Iommi said: “I’m really excited about our new perfume and after the success of the last one, I hope you’ll love Deified as much as I do. We’ve been going through the same process of trying different perfume samples over the last year until we came up with this one, and I really love it.”

This new song by
Tony Iommi
comes as rumours about a possible reunion of the band remain current
Black Sabbath
. In this regard, last Thursday the former drummer of Sabbath
Bill Ward
took to Instagram to write, “I’m ready to play some of the oldies. I loved playing them, I’d love to play them one last time. I won’t talk publicly about my health other than to say that I’m doing pretty well for 76 every day. I’m musically active every day and have a very busy and rewarding life. Love you all, always.”
