Timothée Chalamet plays Bob Dylan on “Saturday Night Live”
Yesterday evening, January 25, Timothée Chalamet was a guest on “Saturday Night Live” and performed three Bob Dylan songs live.
Fresh off his lead actor Oscar nomination for his performance as the Duluth singer-songwriter in “A Complete Stranger,” the actor delivered a full-band version of “Outlaw Blues” from the 1965 classic “Bringing It All Back” Home”. Chalamet then moved on to “Three Angels” from 1970’s “New Morning.” Timothée Chalamet, who performed Dylan’s songs himself in the biopic, also played an acoustic version of “Tomorrow Is A Long Time,” a song included for the first time in 1971’s “Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits Vol. II”.
“A Complete Unknown”, based on the biography “Dylan goes electric!” by Elijah Wald and which traces the electric turning point in Bob Dylan’s career, arrived in cinemas on January 23rd.
