Thom Yorke’s Smile Release Two New Songs
A way to make amends with fans after the recent cancellation of the tour due to Jonny Greenwood’s hospitalization in intensive care? Maybe. Smile have released two new songs by surprise, contained on the A-side and B-side of a limited edition vinyl released only in music stores, although the tracks were uploaded by fans to the platforms. The songs are called “Don’t get me started” and “The slip” and you can listen to them below:
“Don’t get me started” and “The slip” come six months after the release of “Wall of eyes”, the latest album from the group composed of the two minds of Radiohead Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood together with drummer Tom Skinner, founder of Sons of Kemet.
His brother Colin updated Radiohead and Smile fans on Greenwood’s condition, who was struck by an unspecified infection, in a post shared on social media on July 18: “He’s recovering at home and watching Seinfeld reruns. He’s doing better.”
