“The Wheel of Fortune”: a chat with “La Band”

The revelation television program of the year is undoubtedly “La Ruota della Fortuna”, hosted every evening for a few months, Saturdays and Sundays included, by Gerry Scotti with Samira Lui (Channel 5, 8.40pm). Beyond the innovations in the rules and mechanics of the game introduced compared to the first cycles of the programme, which was presented by Mike Bongiorno (on Canale 5 and then on Retequattro from 1989 to 2003) and then by Enrico Papi, from 2007 to 2009 on Italia Uno, the novelty of this edition is the presence in the studio of a musical group playing live. The members of the group, presented every evening by Scotti as “the band!”, are Nicla Ozenda (vocals), Marco Galeone (vocals and keyboards), the drummer Diego Fornaciari (Zucchero’s nephew), the bassist Alessio Norelli and the guitarist Alessandro Viglio.
