Damned, a Pink Floyd cover on the new album

On January 23, 2026, i Damned they will publish “Not Like Everybody Else”an album of covers dedicated to the memory of Brian James, the founding guitarist of the band, who passed away on March 6th. The album was recorded over five days at Revolver Studio in Los Angeles. “Not Like Everybody Else” marks the return of Rat Scabies in the studio with the band for the first time in 40 years for a lineup that saw lineups Dave Vanian to the voice, Captain Sensible on the guitar, Rat Scabies on the battery, Paul Gray on bass and keyboard player Monty Oxymoron.

In the setlist there are songs like “See Emily Play” of the Pink Floyd, “When I Was Young” of the Animals And “The Last Time” of the Rolling Stonesin which he also participates Brian Jamestaken from his last live performance with i Damned at Hammersmith in London remixed for this release.

To celebrate the album’s release, i Damned will perform a covers concert at the Albert Hall in Manchester on 28 January 2026, performing songs from “Not Like Everybody Else” along with fan-favorite covers that shaped their career. It will be an unforgettable evening in honor of Brian James and the band’s shared history.
